According to the Greek Code of Accounting Books and Records and the new Greek Tax Code for Financial Transaction Mapping \u2013 \u039d.4093\/2012) and concerning any passenger bus transport, a tax asset is issued (\u201cticket\u201d), equivalent to a \u201cRetail Transaction Receipt\u201d. No other document is required. Furthermore, (according to the KPMG) it is laid down that all \u201ctickets\u201d remain unissued until 31-13-2013.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Having regard to the \u201cCharter of Obligations towards the Consumers\u201d, of all transport carriers (common carriers) as legislated by act 2963\/2001(A\u2019268),<\/strong>
Article 1<\/strong>
Transport carrier\u2019s obligations\/ Common carriers obligations<\/strong><\/p>

1. Transport\/common carriers and their institutions, shall:<\/p>

Return 70% of a passenger\u2019s ticket fare in the case he\/she cancels his\/her seat reservation on a long-distance route, 8 hours minimum before departure or 50% in the case of cancelation within 8 hours prior to departure.<\/p>

Amend tickets (instead of a previously mentioned possible cancelation) on travel dates or transfer them (tickets transferable free of charge) to persons entitled of a reduced price or free transportation on return routes (price difference is rewarded to the initial ticket holder). Valid only in cases of: cancelation or destination\/itinerary change or passenger name change or date change and after a relative validation by a KTEL officer.<\/p>

Ticket refund policy:<\/strong><\/p>

  1. In the event of a passenger not canceling his reservation prior to his\/her departure, tickets are non-refundable.<\/li>
  2. In the event of a ticket cancelation within the last 8 hours before departure, 50% of a ticket fare is returned. This is calculated by 39X50% =- 19,5 for a single ticket and 59-39=20X50%=10,00, for a return ticket fare given that the single transition was used and since a relative canceled course costs 59-39=20 euros.<\/li>
  3. In the event of a ticket cancelation 8 hours minimum before departure (e.g. previous day), 70% of a ticket fare is returned. This is calculated by 39X70%= 27,30 for a single ticket and 59-39=20X70%= 14,00, for a return fare, given that the single transition was used and since a relative canceled course costs 59-39=20 euros.<\/li><\/ol><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    The estimated\/ standard duration of the Athens \u2013 Thessaloniki route and vice-versa, is 05:45- 06:15 hours, including a 30-minute stop at Lamia, depending on traffic conditions. The driving distance is 496 kilometers.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
