The first accessible bus buses to people with disabilities are a fact. Ten buses have been acquired by KTEL Thessaloniki SA, which circulate both on the Thessaloniki - Athens route and on the domestic routes, offering autonomy for the wheelchair users.

Buses have a special provision for the safe boarding and disembarkation of wheelchair users, while in addition there is a special place for wheelchairs. KTEL Thessaloniki SA is the first to buy this kind of accesible vehicles.
